The Team

Academic Year 2007-2008:

  • Ben Sherman, Lead -
Ben Sherman is a soon-to-be degree holder from USC's Interactive Media program. As lead designer, Ben can be blamed for obtuse Wiimote controls, over extended gameplay metaphors, and generally mucking up what would otherwise be beautiful code. When he is not working on games, Ben is probably cooking food or editing movies. Some of Ben's other work can be found at Bentropy.com.
  • Max Geiger, Lead -
Max Geiger is a senior in his final semester at USC, where he is majoring in Interactive Entertainment and minoring in Classics. It's his fault the game is medieval and is based on epic poetry. He also had a hand in getting fellow project RagnaRøkk off the ground, and can be blamed for the Vikings there. He currently serves primarily as a lead producer on Errantry, but wears a variety of hats on the project as needed. You can follow his other work at www.MaxVsTheInternet.com
  • Erik Gieszelmann, Lead Engineer -
Erik Gieszelmann is a senior majoring in Computer Science with an emphasis in Games. Like everyone else in LA, Erik received his position as lead engineer of Errantry through nepotism, as he is friends with the lead designer. When he is not living in the lab, he likes to play Dungeons and Dragons, play video games he did not have to make, and act in his sketch comedy troupe, the Big Game Hunters. Erik will be graduating from the University of Southern California in December of 2008, barring extraterrestrial invasion or mutated dinosaur attacks.
  • Warren Post, Designer
  • Cory Sanford, Apprentice
  • Hillary Thomas, Composer -
Hillary Thomas is a composer for video games, film and television. She is a graduate of, The California Institute of the Arts and the USC Scoring for Motion Picture and Television Program. Her music can also be found in award winning films such as, "On Great White Wings" and "Based On A True Story". For more information on Hillary and her music please go to, www.hillarythomasmusic.com.

Spring Semester 2008:

  • Tim Jones, Engineer
  • Jeff Jew, Designer
Jeff Jew is a senior at USC double-majoring in Interactive Media and English. He is currently a designer at Riot Games in Culver City, working on a soon-to-be-announced project. When he’s not making games, Jeff enjoys playing paintball and quoting Old Greg, much to the dismay of those around him.
  • Frankie Thomas, Poet -
Frankie Thomas is a USC dropout from New York City. If you have a problem with the scansion of Errantry's poetry, take it up with her and she'll show you why you're wrong. She loves birds, writing, and sex; her next career move will involve two out of those three. For further reference: avenueF.blogspot.com.
  • Jon D.A., Poet -
Born in the dusty hills of Washington DC, Jon fled for the left coast where he received a BA in Cinema Critical Studies from the University of Southern California. In October 2007 he won the Best Screenplay Award at Screamfest LA for his script "The Palace." Besides writing Jon also enjoys talking on the telephone, holding hands, and pondering the ethical implications of the NSA's warrant-less spying program.
  • Edmundo Sanchez, Additional Art
Edmundo Sanchez provided additional art for the "Slay the Dragon" feat, including the most beautiful herpetoid uvula to ever grace a computer screen. His hompage is available at http://edmundo.aooo.com/ and includes his portfolio

Fall Semester 2007:

  • Jared Sain, Designer
  • Logan Olson, Designer
  • Rubaiz Virk, Lead Engineer -
Rubaiz Virk, MSc spearheaded much of Errantry's progamming in the Fall of '07. He has since graduated, but keeps in touch with the team. His website and resume are available at www.rubaiz.com
  • Abhishek Trikha, Engineer
  • Peter Van Dyke, Producer
  • Rahul Sureka, Directed Research Programing
  • Girija Deshmukh, Directed Research Programing -
Currently working as Software Engineer (Productivity Mobile Devices) at Motorola Inc.
  • Jeremy Jung, Assistant Producer-
Jeremy Jung is in his final undergraduate semester at USC, a senior majoring in Communication, and minoring in Video Game Design and Management. During the fall semester of the project, Jeremy was responsible for organizing an asset list and communication with Gamepipe's Pipelines class. He was also responsible for the many random medieval objects exist in the game, including furniture, cutlery, and food items, as Jeremy also served as an artist on some of the in-game objects. Related to that statement, Jeremy enjoys both drawing things and eating things in his spare time (however not concurrently, mind you, as those two activities are generally not too conducive to one another).
  • Andrea Tseng, Artist
  • Lindsay Mathers, Artist
  • Kathleen Meek, Artist-
Kathleen is finishing her senior year at USC, where she is a Fine Arts major. She has worked with video games, interactive media and production design for film, and hopes to work somewhere that combines all three of these areas. And, when not doing some sort of art, Kathleen loves eating gelato and plotting her next return to Italy. To see more of her work (but sorry, no gelato on this page... yet) visit www.kathleenmeek.com
